Paris Meeting: Total renews investment commitment to Nigeria’s oil sector

Total Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Mr Patrick Pouyanne, has reiterated the company’s investment commitment to Nigeria’s oil and gas sector.

At the meeting with Nigerian President, MOHAMMADU BUHARI in Paris, France, Pouyanne emphasized the great potentials of Nigerian hydrocarbon industry, providing assurances to Mr President of his company’s commitment to continue to invest in Nigeria particularly in gas production & supply for both domestic & export through the Nigeria LNG.

Also discussed with Pouyanne by the President is the need for improved fiscal stability and attractiveness that are necessary for continuing investment into Nigeria’s vibrant oil/gas industry

In attendance at the meeting were the Ministers of Trade & Investment, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo; Foreign Affairs, Mr Geoffrey Onyeama; GMD NNPC group, Mallam Mele Kyari and NNPC’s Group General Manager, National Petroleum Investments Management Services(NAPIMS), Bala Wunti
