The Group Chief Executive Officer, NNPC Limited, Mallam Mele Kyari has disclosed that crude oil drilling will commence in Nasarawa state March 21, 2023.
Kyari who was speaking during his visit to the state governor, Engr. Abdullahi Sule on Thursday, ahead of the company’s Saturday signing of MoU with the state, announced that NNPC Limited will officially commence oil drilling campaign in the state on March 21, 2023
“GCEO@nnpclimited Mallam @MKKyari today visited @GovNasarawa, H. E. Engr. Abdullahi Sule, in Lafia, the State Capital. During the visit, @MKKyari announced that @nnpclimited will officially commence oil drilling campaign in the State on the 21st March, 2023”, Kyari twitted.
NNPCL had early this year announced oil discovery in Keana and another oil discovery in Obi LGA of the state last week.
On Saturday, 18th February, NNPCL and Nasarawa State Government will sign MoU. “It will now dawn on people that this administration doesn’t make empty promises but only seeks to bring development to the state”, the governor said
