Fawibe, three others assume new roles in IESL


International Energy Services Limited (IESL), a firm that specializes in engineering services, installation and maintenance, construction, technical services and consultancy services has announced a change in the management of the Company.
The Company in a statement, announced the appointment of Engr. Bayo Ige as its new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer with effect from July 1st, 2022.

Ige has a very strong Engineering background in Civil/Structure, and Chemical Engineering as well as MBA from Cornell University in the United States. The Board believes Engr. Bayo Ige is the ideal Managing Director to lead the Company’s next chapter of growth and success as the Board has been impressed by his strong track records of innovation, project execution, operational excellence, and having been working in the company for the past six years developing teams that drive results.

Engr. Ige has consistently delivered high growth during rapid periods of industrial disruption and technological advancement. He is a world-class leader with a wealth of experience. The Company is excited to welcome him to this position.
Dr. Diran Fawibe, who has been the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the company for the past 31 years would be stepping down from the role of Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer.

He would however remain the Chairman of the Company.
The Company is also deeply appreciative to Dr. Diran Fawibe for his leadership over the years. In addition to leading bold actions, Dr. Fawibe has aided the Company to re- prioritize its product roadmap, scaled growth initiatives, significantly improved margins and positioned the Company for enhanced shareholder returns.
Dr. Diran Fawibe has recently said “it has been a great privilege serving International Energy Services Limited for such a long time, but the company has come of age and is ready for a transition to the next generation.”
The Company has also appointed Mr. Okechi Nwoke as an Executive Director of the Company, who has equally been performing exceedingly well since he joined the company seven years ago.
The Board also appointed Ms. Adeyinka Lawal as the Legal and Company Secretary.

She is a full-fledged legal practitioner, called to the Nigerian Bar in 2004 and subsequently acquired postgraduate qualifications in Petroleum Law and related fields.
