Early morning fire explosion in Lagos

A truck, fully loaded with fuel, exploded in Akute, Lagos State in the early hours of Saturday.

According to eyewitness, the incident occured when a truck attempted to offload it’s content inside the tank at NNPC station by Ajayi Farm Bus stop, Akute.

The residents say the burning truck is close to the NNPC filling station at Alagbole-Akute road and also, there is gas tank close to the filling station

“NNPC Gas Station, Ore-Meji Bus Stop along Alagbole – Akute road on fire Emergency responders are urged to race to the location” one of the residents was quoted as saying.
