7th Anniversary: KEDCO to reward customers with tokens, improve services

The Management of Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) has said that as part of the company’s seventh anniversary celebration, it would upgrade its service delivery to all electricity consumers within its network, mainly  in Kano, Katsina and Jigawa States.

According to the Management, KEDCO has mapped out strategies to ensure that service delivery in the new year is given due attention in the interest of customers.

The Disco in a statement stated that it has sustained reforms within the last seven years in order to cope with the changing demands of power distribution and it sets to upgrade to a higher level to give our numerous customers top notch service delivery.

“As a company, we are mindful of the role our sub-sector plays in micro and macro economic development in our franchise states, hence the constant network expansions and investments. All our efforts are geared toward giving satisfaction to all our stakeholders and as part of this year’s celebration, the Management has resolved to award free tokens to some customers for their loyalty over the years in helping us grow the sector”.

KEDCO chief executive officer, Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, said the future of the company was a major concern as the company marks its 7th anniversary.

“While celebrating this year, we are very careful about our future as a company so that we can better prepare for expansion to be able to meet future demands. Our achievements over the years speak volume and such wouldn’t have been possible without the resilience and commitment of my staff and our loyal customers. So I salute both in their efforts to helping us grow to the level we are.”
