NNPC, GNPC seal oil deal

The Group Chief Executive of NNPCL Limited, Mallam Mele Kyari, has said that the company and the Gambian National Petroleum Company (GNPC) have signed an MoU for collaboration in the Oil & Gas sector.

Kyari in a series of tweets said on Friday that the MoU includes new frontier exploration; crude oil market expansion opportunities and transfer of technology towards quest for more energy security for both countries and the West African sub-region.

He said: “Earlier today, @nnpclimited and the Gambian National Petroleum Company (#GNPC) signed an MoU for collaboration in the Oil & Gas sector. @nnpclimited’s Exec. VP, Business Services, Mr. Danladi A. Inuwa and #GNPC’s  MD Baboucarr Njie signed on behalf of the two NOCs.

“Areas of interest include new frontier exploration; crude oil market expansion opportunities and transfer of technology towards quest for more energy security for both countries and the West African sub-region”, he said

NBET denies NDPHC January payment
